How the refusals are enforced
Vidoova's most important behaviours are the things it refuses to do — and none of them are left to chance.

Every question is checked against the scanned page
Before any answer is written, the question is checked against what was actually scanned. A question the page doesn't cover is routed to a parent consent gate rather than answered; a question that's in the book but on a page that wasn't scanned prompts for a scan, not a PIN.
The answer arrives with its own check
In student mode, each step of an explanation comes with a small check. The correct choice is fixed when the answer is prepared and confirmed before your child sees it — the same way every time — and the steps below stay locked until your child answers.
When it cannot read, it says so
Reading a child's handwriting is where a tutor is most tempted to guess. When a line is too unclear to read confidently, Vidoova marks it as unread and says so — it never invents a word or a number to fill the gap — and it won't grade a drawing at all.
What is deleted, and when
The photo of the page is deleted immediately after the page has been read — we keep the extracted text, not the picture. Voice recordings are deleted as soon as they're transcribed. The full detail is in thePrivacy Policy.
What the parent can always see
Every question a child asks, and how it was answered — from the book, or refused — is kept in an audit trail the parent can open at any time. After a session, a report card shows where the child did well and where they got stuck.
